Last week Gartner Inc. came out with its list of strategic technologies for 2008. Topping the list is “Green IT” which according to Gartner is going to become a major factor in data center management. In addition, “Virtualization” is also a technology anticipated to generate some buzz in 2008 which is neither surprising nor new to us. The following technologies round off the rest of the list:
